Our Pastor:

Dr. Randall Townsend was voted for the pastor's position on our first Sunday in 1988. Before that, he served for 4 years as an associate pastor and then, for over 4 years, as the pastor of Victory Baptist Temple in Huber Heights, Ohio. Pastor Townsend has earned the Bachelor of Religious Education, Bachelor of Theology, Master of Theology and Doctor of Theology degrees. He serves as the administrator of Bible Baptist Academy and is a director of Christian Schools of Ohio. He is also pleased to serve the Lord on the board of directors for Word for the World Baptist Missions (Rossville, Georgia.)

Pastor Townsend is married to Mrs. Nancy Townsend. Mrs. Townsend has taught in Christian schools since 1983. She is the principal of Bible Baptist Academy and is very active in the Sunday School, nursery, and music ministry. Mrs. Townsend has earned a Bachelor degree and recently completed her Master of Religious Education (summa cum laude) degree from Temple Baptist Seminary (Chattanooga, Tennessee), graduating as valedictorian of her class.

Pastor and Mrs. Townsend have a daughter, Candace. Candi is a graduate of Cedarville University, Ohio, where she majored in education. She is one of our Sunday School teachers and also works in the nursery and music ministries.
